I work out of Kings Fitness and Leisure in Cheddar or at a location of your choice. You do not need to be a member of Kings gym to have your sessions there with me.

Teaching individuals to swim 1:1 or in a class.

Achieve your goals: whether to learn to swim; improve your stroke or if you want to tackle an event.  I specialise in swim teaching having taught national swimmers and beginners alike.  These sessions can either be in a pool or open water, as all sessions are bespoke to the individual.

I am a 77 year old man, ex army and a commercial pilot. I seem to have spent my life on courses, I am a trained instructor and I am painfully aware of what makes a not so good instructor. 

Last year I had a shoulder and back injury that could have stopped me taking part in an off road, group motorcycle tour of Patagonia. I needed to be able to pick up a 230kg motorcycle on my own but at 10 stone I lacked the strength, especially with two nagging injuries. I have always loved physical activities but I lack the self discipline to train on my own. My physiotherapist advised me that the only way to overcome my injuries was through strength training.

My nearest gym is in Cheddar and so I looked on the internet for a personal trainer there. I needed someone who my age but who would push me, through discipline, encouragement, expectation and humour. Someone with years of experience of quirky people who had trained for sports and not just for the look.

Luckily I found Nicole in November 2021 and by April 2022 my injuries had disappeared and I am fitter and stronger now than I was when taking part in a marathon canoe race three years ago. Hopefully you are looking to get the best out of life then training with Nicole will be your best decision.
